5 Mil Letter Size Laminating Pouches, 9 x 11.5", 100/box
From LDI
If all laminating pouches were the same, you would simply make your purchase decision based upon price alone. Unfortunately, purchasing bargain laminating pouches can often cost you more due to poor adhesion, excessive waste and the cost to re-print and re-laminate your project. The major differences in laminating pouches are the quality of the EVA resin, polyester, and the quality and consistency of the manufacturing process. Lamination Depot thermal pouches are manufactured using only DuPont Elvax ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer resins which produce maximum clarity and superior adhesion to photos and inkjet prints. In addition, our pouches are produced under strict ISO 9001 quality procedures which document 21 quality inspections that each laminating pouch must pass before it can be sold.

Awesome product!
I had been purchasing my laminating pouches from a major office supply chain for $48.99 for 100 5 mil letter pouches. When I discovered that I could buy the same(different brand)product through Amazon for only $14.99 I was skeptical. Most of the time, if something seems too good to be true it is. However, I decided to take the chance, and I am so glad that I did. This product is made of quality materials; it works just as well, maybe even better, than the more expensive one. The products seals tightly, and I have never had one stick in my machine. I am a teacher, and I go through at least 100 pouches a month; I am overjoyed to have discovered this product!
TERRIFIC PRODUCT
I just got a thermal lamination machine for home use and bought these generic 5 mil pouches. i'm laminating Bible study lessons for our hot tub and need waterproof pages. so i'm printing my lessons off the computer, and laminating them. the 5 mil pouches definately work better than the 3mil. and after the page is laminated i had it submerged completely in hot tub water about 95 degrees and water did not get inside it. i also needed to punch 3 holes into the lamination to store the lessons afterwards. this took some trial and error. if i laminate the page, punch holes with a 3 hole punch, it worked great if only the lamination pouch was punched through. if the holes also went through the paper, then water got in that way. so now, i just cut my 8.5" by 11" paper to be smaller so the hole punch doesn't go through it. i was also able to submerge the 3 hole in hot tub water for over 20 minutes and no water got it. it worked terrific! i also made bookmarks with this product. i cut the bookmarks and spaced them into the letter pouch, and after laminating, i cut around each bookmark. it works great! just make sure if you cut the lamination after laminating, you don't cut the paper also. and i had to round the corners of the bookmarks since the 5 mil was very sharp. this product rocks!
Check S&H charges - almost as much as the product.
This may be a reasonable product and it appears to be a great deal. Since this does not ship via Amazon it does not qualify for free S&H. When I went to purchase, the price was $9.99 and the S&H was $8.99. Check total cost!! The additional S&H makes this NOT a GREAT deal. This is deceptive product pricing of hiding the true product cost in S&H. How honest do you think the company is?
